Cannot install iTunes 10.5 in windows 7 64bit

In my computer while trying to install iTunes 10.5 I get "There is a problem with this Windows installer package..." error message. I have windows 7 OS in my computer. What should I do to solve this problem? Any help will be appreciated.

After going through your problem I will suggest you to try to solve this problem by repairing the Apple Update Software and after doing that your problem will get solved. as far as I know after trying this solution your problem will get solved.

Yes repairing the Apple Update Software will solve this problem. you have to click on start menu and then you have to click on control panel. Now after that you have to click on uninstall programs. You have to look for the Apple Update Software. After doing that you have to right click on that and then you have to select repair option. After reaping the Apple Update Software you have to try to install iTunes 10.5 in your computer again and then you have to check whether it makes any difference or not? I was also having same issue and then I have repaired Apple Update Software and then my problem gets solved. You should also try this solution.

I have repaired Apple Update Software in my computer and after repairing the Apple Update Software in my computer also problem does not get solved. if anyone have more solution regarding this then let me know. Any help will be appreciated.

Well according to me you have to download iTunes 10.5 for 64 bit again from the internet and after downloading that you have to try to install in your computer and then see whether it makes any difference or not. may be after trying that your problem will get solved.
