Nero Video 11 converts PAL 1920x1080 to 1440x1080

This really strange thing to hear that my Nero Video 11 converts my videos from 1920x1080 to 1440x1080. I am pretty much sure that I have selected PAL and 1920x1080 resolutions in settings. Now English audio stream gone as well as subtitles. What can I do now? How to correct this issue?

I think that the issue is of the scaling to 1440x due to the lower frame rate of PAL. At current framerate, you will get only 1440x resolution for AVCHD. To confirm it, you can try NTSC conversion for the same file. However in PAL only single audio channel is supported. However if you want to recode the video b the use of Recode, you can choose audio channels inside the Options\Audio. I don’t know why subtitles being lost.

AS far as I know that the Nero Video will not able to burn 2 audio channels from the original video. Also the Recode will not help you to change that. You have only one option available there.

I think that you have converted from the NTSC-source file. One thing you should always keep in mind that you should not convert that to PAL. Even after the conversion, you will still have the HD movie and the bluray player can handle both both PAL and NTSC. The Nero Video 11 is absolutely normal. It is confirmed that after the conversion you will lose the audio tracks and all subtitles

There are cameras that use DV tapes, hard drives and flash cards. Cameras to tape use MPEG-2 in a resolution of 1440 x 1080. The HDV format is fully supported by all video software and requires no top speed PC. MPEG-2 is also used to encode the videos to DVD. However if you want to get the 1920 x 1080 resolution, you will have to buy 'Full HD' Camera. The term 'Full HD' is regularly used a camera to prices. Usually this is not the expected resolution of 1920 x 1080 while the only resolution is that this term deserves. Only the newest cameras support this resolution.
