Looking for similar program like NetLimiter for Fedora

I am using Fedora in my computer and I am looking for similar application like NetLimiter. please tell me which application I can in Fedora for controlling internet traffic. If anyone have any idea regarding this then let me know. Tank you in advance.

I have read your problem and I would like to tell you that you should use pyshaper. It is very nice application for managing internet traffic. You can also set incoming or outgoing limit on particular countries. I hope this information will be helpful for you.

Thank you for helping me. As you have mentioned that I have to use pyshaper and after looking at your post I have downloaded and installed pyshaper and it worked fine. Now I want to know that what should I do to start daemon automatically when I boot my PC. Any help will be appreciated?

If you want to run anything when your computer boot then you need to follow this steps.

• First you have to open terminal.
• After that you have to type “su -”
• Now after that you have to type this” gedit /etc/rc.local”
• After that you have to add the command which you want to run.
• I hope this will be helpful for you.

In your computer if you want to run anything after you login to specific user then you have to first login to your PC from the with the user account in which you want to start pyshaper. Now after that you have to open pyshaper program and then click on logout and check Save Settings option and after doing that your problem will get solved. If you want to know anything more then let me know.

According to me you have to first run chkconfig command and then see whether there is anything related to pyshaper is listed or not. I will also suggest you to try to run pyshaper with the help of following command

sudo service pyshaper start

try this solution and then let me know what the result.
