    How to change Numbering On/Off icon change from Roman numbers in OpenOffice?

    Recently I have installed OpenOffice on the computer of mine. I am having particular query to ask you over here. I have found that one can change the Numbering On/ off icon from the Roman number to any other numbers such as 1,2. If you know about it feel free to post over here.

    As far as I know you can easily change icon for any of the functions from the Toolbars. However I am not aware of whether OOo is having icon image which you wanted to have. you can also import desire image.

    If you wanted to change the icon then you should perform below mentioned steps.
    1. You have to launch OOoWriter and go for Tools and click on Customize.
    2. From the Toolbars tab you have to select Formatting.
    3. Now go for Command list and scroll down to Numbering On/Off and select the same.
    4. You have to click on Modify button and select Change Icon.
    5. From the Change Icon dialog and browse the desire icon.
    6. Select the one and click on Ok.
    7. Now go back to Customize dialog and click on Ok button.

    If you wanted to use different style for every single numbering section and you will need to create a new numbering style for you.

    You can try below mentioned steps assuming that you are looking on Styles and Formatting window with List styles displayed.
    1. You have to right click on any of the numbering style such as Numbering 1 and select New.
    2. You will see the Numbering Style dialog box on the screen.
    3. In case the Organizer tab has been not displayed then select the same.
    4. You have to set name to MyArabicNumbering.
    5. Now click on Numbering Style tab.
    6. After that you have to click on style as per your requirement.
    7. Click on Ok button.
    8. Now choose chapter which you will set using Arabic style.
    9. Finally double click on MyArabicNumbering.
