Mac OS X Lion as guest and VMware Fusion 4.0.1 causing video corruption on MacBook Pro

I am having MacBook Pro powered by Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1. Recently purchased VM Ware 4.0.1 in order to run Lion in VM for development. Once I have installed Lion as a guest on the computer. the graphics is looking fine but resolution into the full screen mode is not native at all. I have not installed VMWare Tools so far. After installing it I have rebooted the computer and now I am getting full screen in the resolution. At login screen I can read everything for couple of moment. After that video is getting corrupted. Can you tell me what went wrong?

In this particular situation I recommend to disable 3D on your system.
You should turn off the VM and go for Virtual Machine.
Into Setting and go for Display.
Here you have to set Accelerate 3D graphics to Off.

I found below mentioned solution which is working in the most of the situation.

• You have to start Mac OS X VM in the Single Window.
• You have to go for System Preferences in Mac OS X Lion VM.
• Now click on Display.
• Here you have to change resolution in the VM to same as that of the resolution on the VMWare host machine.
• Now you have to change View-type to "Full Screen".
• After doing above mentioned steps there will not be any need to disable Accelerate 3D Graphics.
