How to Download VMware Tools for Linux

I have installed VMware on Linux operating system and I just need to download the VMware Tools for Linux. I know that I can download it easily with the installer itself but while doing this I have found that the download is very slow. So is there another way to download the VMware Tools for Linux. I have VMware Fusion 3.1.3 and I am using the light installer, i.e. the one without the antivirus stuff included.

Once you download this software then you should manually extract the .iso image and along with the .sig files. Then you need to put all this files on proper location.

I just forgot to ask one question i.e. : if I use the non -"light" installer to install the VMware Fusion then will this install the VMware tools for Linux and along in the other guest OS'es?

Full Package of VMware Tools comes with VMware Fusion Application. The Full Package has 12 Month Free Windows Antivirus and along with it an OVF Tool and MacFUSE. The MacFUSE will be usable with 32-bit kernels.

I am looking for the VMware tools for Linux and I am not fully aware how to install it. I have read some articles how to install it but I didn’t find any tools for this. So can anyone suggest me from where can I find the latest VMware tool for VMware vsphere 5.0?
