Re: VMware Fusion for Mac won't connect to Virtual machine

first i think your getting this issue due to the permissions issue and i think your trying to connect Virtual machine without admin mode or Make sure you have rights to run the program. so i would like to suggest you to make sure your able to connect through the admin mode and then make sure your able to access all directories it uses and temp files.

Re: VMware Fusion for Mac won't connect to Virtual machine

even i have faced the same issue and when i try to connect the VM i get the error message saying that:"Failed to connect to peer process" and to solve this issue i have just reinstalled the Fusion 1.1.3 and after that mine issue was get solved, so before doing this i would like to suggest you to do the below thongs and after that make sure your able to connect to VM or not.
Code:
sudo /Library/Application\ Support/VMware\ Fusion/boot.sh --restart
i have found this code while searching on the web. so try this first and if this doesn't help you to solve the issue and then i would like to suggest you to reinstall the VMware Fusion.
