MS Project Scheduling on specific day of week

Hi There - is there a way to set-up a task in MS Project 2007 so that it always starts on the Monday following all predecessors being completed?

    Hi,

Yes. It can be achieved with the use of a task calendar and a one-minute "buffer" task. Create a calendar where the only working time is one minute before the start time of your working day on every Monday. All other time should be non-working time.

Add a one minute task as the predecessor to your Monday morning regular task. Assign the task calendar to the one minute predecessor. This will force the successor (your Monday task) to always start on the Monday following the completion of predecessor tasks.

In the future, try posting to the forum for Project:

    I hope this helps.
