Adobe Flash Player 10 is causing Internet Explorer 9 to crash

I am running windows 7 in my computer and I recently installed Adobe Flash Player 10 and the problem that I am facing now is that when I am running Internet Explorer 9 with the Shockwave Flash Object enabled than the internet explorer is crashing where as it works fine when the Shockwave Flash Object is disabled but then I am not able to see the flash content, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the flash again but then it is not making any difference is there anyone who can help me with it??

I will suggest you to try enabling the ActiveX Filtering which is included in the IE9 and see if it is making any difference or not:
Go in to internet explorer and then go in to Tools button, point to Safety and after that just click on the ActiveX Filtering and then turn it on
Just try it out and see what you get.

I have tried out the same and it was enabled previously but then I found that when I am disable filtering for that page than the internet explorer is crashing in the same way it used to when I was disabling the Shockwave Flash object, I really don’t know what is go in on, what do you think might be the issue now??

Ok, just go in to the Tools>Internet Options>Security and see if the Setting for the Internet Zone is set to Medium or not and check out if you are getting any popup for software blocking the flash and all. Other than this also run a system scan and try enabling and disabling the antivirus and the fire wall while using the flash, As there are possibilities that they might be conflicting with the flash process.

I was not having the Setting for the Internet Zone set to Medium but then I have done the same now and it is not making any difference. I have also run a full system scan and have not found anything to be suspicious. I have tried enabling and disabling the antivirus and the fire wall as well and they are still not helping me out, is there any other solution that I can try out??

I just want to know that which are the files in the Flash folder, just check out the same and then post them here so I can have a better idea about the issue that you are facing.

I have checked out for the same and I have found the following files to be there in the Flash folder:

• Flash10o.ocx
• Flashinstall
• Flash10o_ActiveX.dll
• Flash10o_ActiveX
• Install

Any further help for the same will be highly appreciated.
