Unable to read mms.cfg file by using Adobe Flash Player

Well I am looking to deploy Flash 10.3 using group policy. I am getting trouble while disabling autoupdate. I tried to put file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 which is called as mms.cfg. it is encoded in UTF-8 through notepad. auto-updating is enabled in control panel settings. However I am using AutoUpdateDisable=1 in the file. I have installed Windows 7 x64 SP1 on my computer. thanks a lot in advance.

Following steps will help you to fix the problem of yours.
    • You have to go for Control Panel and launch Flash Player applet by double clicking on it.
    • It will launch Flash Player Settings Manager. Now click on Advanced tab.
    • After that uncheck Never check for updates (not recommended) checkbox.
    • Finally close Flash Player Settings Manager.
    • Once you have done with the above mentioned steps it will modify C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\settings.sol.
    • You can copy above mentioned file on desired machine or you can user profile to clone Never check for updates (not recommended) settings over there.

I searched on the Google find out that it was all about with the bug issue. So you will need to contact developer of Adobe Flash and file a bug report to them. they will work on the same and release the patch which you can download and installed on your system.
