Unable to create macros in Microsoft word for Mac

Recently I have installed Microsoft office 2011 for MAC in my MAC book pro and after installing office in my MACbook I am facing problem with the Macros. i am not able to create macros in word. If anyone knows about how to create this then please let me know any help will be appreciated.

I have read your problem and I will help you with this. you have to first go to tools and then go to macros and then you have to create new macro from there and after that you have to copy the code which you get. Now after doing that you have to select Customize Keyboard from tools and then you have to select macros from the categories and after that you have to assign shortcut for that. Now after that you have to click on Ok button and then your problem will get solved.

Yes above given steps are correct. I was also facing same problem with macros and I have also done same steps which is mentioned and above and after trying that I was not facing any problem with the macros in Word. According to me you should also try same solution.

I have followed the steps which you have given and after that I have assign the shortcut also and after trying that my problem get solved. Now I am not facing any problem with macros. thank you so much for helping me. I really appreciate your help.
