How can I paste a list of range names into a worksheet in Excel 2007. The paste list option is not in the name manager. I tried to modify the settings and check back but nothing found and also there is no appropriate information in the help files.

It is easy to that. Go in the Ribbon and then click on the Formulas tab. Then in the Defined Names group, click Use in Formula. After that click on Paste Names and click on Paste List. Or other way you can choose the cell where you want to start your list. Then click on Menu > Insert > Name > paste and drag down a list.
There is a macro made which I had used long time before. Called as QCQ time to recover from a defined names (names with reference errors are listed separately), but then place on the active sheet name in the cell, change the background and supervision, and sets the reference comment related to the name. This is handy if you have a sheet form rather rich in names for the model with the names of the cells under the eyes. A box option allows you to choose if you want to see the names of cells or zones.
For areas, the name being placed in the top right cell, the cell will be the name of the last area where several areas have in common that cell. Where an option to choose the maximum size of areas to be treated. Another option to refresh the screen often leaves less 'heavy'. Of course it is so destructive to the paper work on a copy. The other macro in this workbook dissociates controls while groups grouped together to have more than individual controls.
In active sheet you can just right click and define a range of cell to create a drop down list. Click or select a cell range, then click on Data / Validation / Allow: List Source and enter: = name of list.
