    Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 does not send email notification

    Recently I have installed Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 in my machine and I got stuck into an issue which I had never seen before, nor in any previous versions. I have seen many posts regarding this issue but never seen any kind solution there. The problem is as follows:
    I have enabled the email notification globally. This option was available in the machine options. Other than this I have also tried to set it up separately for a backup job. After all this I went to check the configuration. There was a “send test-email" button to check it and it worked without any issues and I got email also. But never get any email notification about the configured backup job. I know that everything is working fine and no errors but not getting email after the finishing of the job.

    I even use them within a domain and let them just send to my email address and that without any problems.

    Do you get an error message or a note, it could be what?

    Depending on the provider, it may be that the sender is verified.

    So you have to take a return-mail address that there is actually. Because it could possibly be.

    I'll regularly run Acronis task to back up my system disk. In this task, you can also enable email notification so that you get a mail in case of error or at completion. So let's be honest, I can very well set up an email client and the data are well known to all. If I BEUI Acronis everything correct entered, pop3 server, SMTP server, user, password, ports, etc. I do not get votes from true image 11 is an error message that the parameters.

    Windows Server Acronis emails to an employee to be informed about the successful backup. You may consult with Acronis for the e-mail notification using an SMTP server including user name and password. If we define here the data of our SME server, the notification does not exist. The same problem we have with our multifunction (printer / copier / scanner), which scanned documents sent via email. If the email provider enters the data, it works flawlessly.

    I've updated to the latest version of Acronis and then it's possible without an internal SMTP server. Everything works fine with e.g. a GMX account.
