Compaq presario c700 Web camera and microphone driver

Hi to all,

it seems to me impossible to find the driver to allow the web cam of my Pc to work. I can't find it anywhre. Any clue? any tips^ I download Hp Universal camera driverm but it seems useless

I forgot I need also the driver for the microphone

Unless you tell us what is the operating system installed in your pc we cannot tell you which driver would be needed accordingly for the webcam and microphone driver of Compaq presario c700. If your Webcam is shown under Device Manager as "Webcam 101", then its normal!!! HP/Compaq's webcam usually need no extra driver under Windows 7 & listed as "Webcam 101".

and I search all the Web but nothing so far.

Right click on your "my computer" and then choose properties. After that on the top there is tab called "hardware", simply click on it and then you will see that it will show a tab called "device manager", click on it and then you will see a tree starting with computer. In here you can find your webcam driver and right click on it and then update its driver.

I am providing you a list of drivers file which are needed for this laptop. From the below link choose the exact laptop model with operating system you are using and download the drivers. If still it is not working, then there can be a issue of hardware failure. You can try showing the laptop to your nearest compaq service center. Many time installing fresh drivers fixes major hardware problems.
