Default Program Association to AOL with Windows 7

I am trying to select a group of pictures in Windows Live Photo Gallery, click email, and then actually be able to email them. I get the message that there is no email program associated and to go to the default program control panel to set a default. I've gotten there but then I'm lost as nothing works! I have Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1...HELP!! Thank you!

Try the below method to solve this issue:

    1. Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
    2. Select Programs, Default Programs, and then Set your default programs.
    3. Select the program from the Program list that you’d like to set as your default email program, and follow the on-screen instructions.
