My user data, essentially, all reside on the partition of Lion, the only motive to keep the partition of Snow Leopard is a program that has not been updated to support Lion, and not until within two months. I have to use every day.
Select a folder is not accessible in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, and is given access under Sharing & Permissions.
