Help me create this batch file.

I want to copy files from a folder to another folder named with system date. Actually, I want to such a batch file which gets executed when I click a button on desktop and complete the above task. Also, once created can I edit it, because opening .bat file tells that it is not a valid win32 file. Can anyone tell which command must be written?

It is better if you can try to create a batch file in Gui mode. I had used a tool called Auto Batch Creator. This is a very lightweight tool that helps you to write a code and create easy to edit and run batch script. The tools also work with notepad with proper command display. You can copy paste code and autorun the file also. The tool size is just 800kb and easy to carry. There is no need to run setup of the same. It is a single executable file.
