idea netsetter not working in windows xp

my idea net setter is not working in windows xp. it shows some problems in hardware installation .... what is the solution???

Looks like corrupt drivers issue. Connect the modem in your system. This time connect it to different usb port. Let windows fine the proper drivers. The modem has its dialer and modem in the flash memory inside it. If the hardware installation fails you have to ensure that your usb ports are proper. Try to check the same on another system also.

Same issue with me. Gives an error when installing the software.
windows xp
can not find hwdevi~1.EXE
When I look into the location, the only file I see is hwdeviceservice64.exe which is probably a 6 bit fil that windows xp ofcourse can't use!!
Please help!!!
