    BlackBerry Torch 9800: Desktop Software Error 0x80043ac9, need help

    I am having the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 from the last month. And up till now I was very happy with this one. but now I am having problems in this phone. And the problem is that I am getting a message as it syncs the calendar that reads "Error Encountered. Error Code 0x80043ac9. What does this means? For that I have also tried with the so many of the suggestion but none of them are working and for that only I have also stopped the Calendar from syncing and this is working fine now. Please anyone suggest me in my case.

    Hi friend, I was also having this type of the problem and I found the solution for that. The suggestion is that when you get the error message while syncs the calendar, then at that time synchronizing either the calendar appointment, contact anniversary or contact birthday with a start date prior to 1900. Try with that and report me back. I tried with the same and this really worked for me. In your case I hope that this will really help you.

    Hey, thanks for giving me the response. Actually I have noticed that error message when I was trying to synchronize with the calendar but it fails with the error message. I tried with your suggestion also but this doesn’t works for me. Actually I didn’t get anything from the above reply. I am still on the same problem in the hope that it will get.

    Hey recently I have installed the Desktop Manager 7.0 and I also have faced the same problem. For resolving this I have also checked on the calendar entries prior to 1900 but there are none. So for that reason now I can’t synch my BlackBerry Torch 9800 calendar with the Outlook 2003 SP3. Can here someone suggest us the clear suggestion for that reason? Because all the post over here are actually not working for me. I'm very dissatisfied at the be short of support for such issues mainly for business clients like myself.

    For the same I have tried and there I can see that BLACKBERRY synchoperation does not like older years in a calendar and for that I have deleted the two old ones and then I see that after doing this change calendar synchronization worked. And after that I came to know that this issue was related to the outlook not in his device. So here in your case I will recommend to try the same and see what happens if you are tried with this one. and please report me back if it doesn’t works for you. I will try for giving the other suggestion for you.

    I tried as you have suggested in the previous post, including removing all calendar entries prior to 2010, all reminders prior to 2010 and syncing only the calendar app. But this also don’t worked in my case. But thanks you for the suggestion.

    Yes, here also the same problem, with my BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Outlook Calendar. Please suggest me also for the same problem. I tried with all the suggestion bit they don’t worked for me.

    I can see that you are also having the same problem as the users on this forum so in your case also I will suggest you to try with the suggestion which are given for the above users. After following the suggestion they get out of there problem so in your case also it might help you. At least try with the same and if it doesn’t works for you then report back, we will try for the other suggestion
