While launching the Microsoft word 2011 on Mac OS X 10.6.X Snow Leopard get the long error and and I don’t know what to do can any on help me on this I would be glad thanks

Same here I installed the Microsoft office 2011 and when I tried launching word I get the wired error

Microsoft Word cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure Microsoft  Word works with this version of Mac OS X. 
You may need to reinstall the application. 
Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X.

This fault happens if the Office 2011 program was moved or copied you probably have done it so you are having this trouble.

I don’t remember if I have moved or copied anything Microsoft office 2011 but may be unintentionally I have caused this how can I clear this

May be I can help you just see which one of the following cure your problem

1) Check the program path it should be something like

Macintosh HD\Applications\Microsoft Office 2008

Macintosh HD\Applications\Microsoft Office 2011

If the path in the error message be different, you have to move the application folder to its correct location.

2) Delete duplicate entries by the Finder menu

3) Remove and then reinstall Office

See using any of this is solving your problem if it is then please post the reply as other can know about this
