DHCP is not working in bridged network on VMware fusion 3.1.3

Before upgrading to lion os it work for me. But after upgrading to lion os it didn’t work for me. The host has 2 network cards, a host bridge, unique. When my MacBook Pro is connected to a Wi-Fi Base Station Apple AirPort Extreme, the guest cannot get an IP via DHCP. When my MBP is connected via Wi-Fi to my Verizon 4GLTE MiFi .The guest operating system is capable to obtain an IP via DHCP in the network adapter bridge.

Same trouble, just a little different. Windows 7 VM cannot bridge my MiFi 2200, when I use via USB. However, when connected via Wi-Fi works. Under the merger control panel, Auto-Detect is displayed but cannot detect the Mifi modem

I have a similar difficulty. Macbook pro, used to gather the IP address of a DHCP server in Windows 2008. It’s fully operational in leopard. At the present I have to allocate a static ip to work on Windows 7 x64 Enterprise .The bridge mode is positioned to automatic. Although I'm wired, not wireless.

My virtual Windows 7 show a network a connection Intel PRO/1000 MT. driver is from 2008. What’s up with that? I estimate driver matter. Anybody else with this difficulty?

I will try to get rid of the ADAP from Device Manager and reboot to observe if that solves the difficulty. Then attempt to uninstall the adapter from the Device Manager. Then close up the virtual machine, then take away the network adapter’s configuration of VMware Fusion and reboot.

I am having the same difficulty. At the same time as in OS X Lion .I ran the uninstaller, then re install VMware Fusion 3.1.3 and Endeavour to install Ubuntu 11.04 with network settings in 'bridge' mode. The Ubuntu installer does not observe the network.

Same difficulty. I am running different versions of Fedora and I have a Redhat EL install all the same difficulty. Bridge does not work on wireless networks. Has anyone found an explanation for this difficulty? It is becoming significant.

It was a strange explanation to me. In my matter, I tried deleting the virtual nic of the virtual system and by means of VMware software. So I try to establish my DHCP server, and replaced the network cable. All Things suddenly started working again. Unluckily, I cannot pinpoint who did the trick. I would like to boot the router or any device that is physically connected to your Mac. That does not make a lot of sense.

it reveals the increasing number of RX errors every time ubuntu asks for a DHCP lease for my router. 

$ Tail-f / var / log / sysconfig 
Reveals sending requests DHCP lease, but gives up and finally off the device after the time runs out.

The difficulty is present in Snow Leopard and VMware fusion 3.1.3? Not convinced if I anticipate updating the operating system or VMware on multiple machines.

Ubuntu 10.04LTS, fail to function in bridge mode in VMware Fusion consequent to upgrading to Lion, and operational fully in bridge mode in the existing versions of VirtualBox. So this seems to be a difficulty with VMware or other relationships flanked by means of Ubuntu and unidentified VMware fusion of Lion is not a trouble with VirtualBox.

I rectify my trouble by uninstalling and reinstalling.

You know, but I think N / A for the Ubuntu server, which in actuality requires no tools to run on a host Mac / fusion for use as a local server lamp. If essential now to install the tools for a server installation on Mac Lion, I would like to confirm and expand a procedure.

I reproduced this trouble with new downloads of Ubuntu iso, newly created on virtual machine. Install / reinstall with VMware tools into an existing image.
