How to solve "Compile error in hidden module: Autostart" Error Message on MS Word 2010

hello everyone i have installed the windows XP operating system on mine system and everything on the system working fine without any issue. recently i have updated mine MS from 2007 to 2010 and i have updated without any issue. after updating when i open the Word i have got the error message saying that:"Compile error in hidden module: Autostart". now i don't how to solve this issue and so that i can open the word. can anyone suggest on this issue and so that i can solve mine issue.

Just follow the below steps and after that you can solve the issue. to do this go to the start and after that make click on the run. now on the run type: %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup and after that click on the OK button. now you will get the windows and under that delete the all files and folder you can also paste into desktop. now once you done and after that let me know the issue.

Try the below steps and after that your able to solve the issue. to do this you need to go through the below steps: go to the start and after that make click on the run. now on the run type: regedit and after that click on the ok button. now you will get the registry editor and under that go to the below location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Data

now here make click on the DATA and after that choose the Export on the File menu. now here name file as Wddata.reg and then save it on the desktop. now once you done and after that delete the registry editor and then close the registry editor and start the word.

Even i have faced the same things and after that i have gone through the below steps and after that i have solved mine issue. to do this you need to open the command prompt. on the command prompt type the below command and after that press the enter:
ren %userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dotm OldNormal.dotm
Now once you finish this and then start the word and then let me know the issue.

may be getting this issue due to the Add-ins and so therefore i would like suggest you to make Disable the Startup folder add-ins and after that you can solve the issue. to do this you need to go through the below steps: open the run on the start and after that type the below command on the run program:

%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office14\Startup\

and after that click on the ok button. now once you finish this and after that let me know the issue. if your not bale to solve the issue and then i would also suggest you to make Delete the COM add-ins registry keys. to do this you need to open the registry editor. as above said open the registry editor and under that locate to the below location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins

now here make click on the Addins and after that make click on the Export on the File menu. now name this file as WdaddinHKCU.reg and then save on desktop. now once you done and after t6hat delete the this key. now same the way do the below location as well:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins

here save this file as WdaddinHKLM.reg on desktop and then delete the key. once you finish all this and after that start the word and after that make sure your getting the error or not.
