Vista update killing my QB Premier 2005 Access

The latest update from Vista is preventing me from accessing my QB Premier 2005 files.

Luckily I had a System Restore Point I was able to restore and get back in.

I now have QB Pro 2011 I can use but I want to have access to QB Premier 2005 once in a while for history purposes.

Is there a way to get back to this specific point anytime I need to access QB Premier 2005?

    thx

Follow the below steps as I did to run the Quickbook in your vista machine:

After installation (ignoring errors) I right clicked on the progam icon, selected properties and then the compatibility tab. I set Run this program in compatability mode for Windows 98/Windows Me. I unselected Run in 256 colours and Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution. I selected the last three option. It works ok, but doesn't connect to the web, which I've not bothered to look into because use the function. I don't run payroll in house so I'm not worred about tax updates.

Abbie, thank you so very much.. It worked! I've been having trouble logging into this forum but finally got in to say thx... That's why it took me so long to reply.
