    Uninstalling Seagate Diagnostics from Mac

I have Seagate Freeagent GoFlex Desk 2 TB. After few days my drive started making noise. So I installed Seagate Diagnostics. After installation finished it asked to restart Computer. From that time I am facing booting problem. It takes around 10-15 minutes to get started. And freezes when shutdown. I want to uninstall the Diagnostics tool.

Seagate drives are working ok. It's the software made for Mac that gives the problem and not the Diagnostics utility. Don’t install any software provided with their new drives for Freeagent GoFlex. It's not necessary and will cause problem to the user. Mac user needs to d verify that the drive is partitioned and formatted for the Mac and that can be done with the OS X Disk Utility.

Seagate Drives are not good at all. I am having problem with my second 2TB hard Disk. I never installed any software for it. The driver utility says that Hard Drive was repaired. But it mounts only one partition and disconnects randomly. This Hard disk is supposed to replace old one. I am not buying Seagate Portable Hard Drive now.
