I am using Creative Live! Cam Optia AF webcam in my computer, First I was using windows vista in my computer and at that time my webcam was working properly after that I installed windows 7 operating system in my computer but now my driver is not supporting in widows 7. Please tell me where I should found the windows 7 supported driver for my webcam. If anyone facing the same problem and solved this then please help me. I am waiting for your reply.

I have gone through your problem and I think you can solve this problem by doing plug and play. First completely turn off your computer and then turn it on again. Now connect your Creative Live! Cam Optia AF with your computer. Now your windows will show the notification in that new hardware is found and installing the driver. At that time click on the notification and try to install the drivers manually by inserting your webcam driver CD. After that you will be able to use the webcam in your computer.

I have read your post and after that I downloaded the webcam drivers for windows 7 from your given download link. When I install the driver in my computer and tried to use webcam at that time my computer is detecting the webcam only but after that I am not able to use the webcam. Now please tell me what is wrong with that? When I installed the drivers at that time I didn’t get any error. If anyone has any solution for this then please let me know.

I have gone through your post and I think you are facing this problem because of your old drivers are crashing with new drivers. That is why I will suggest you to first uninstall all the webcam related drivers from your computer. Now restart the computer and after that install the drivers again in your computer which you have downloaded from internet. Now after doing that your driver will not crash and you will be able to use your webcam. Please let me know whether this idea worked for you or not?

After reading your post I have done same steps as you have suggested in your post. First I uninstalled old webcam drivers from my system and after that I downloaded the Ccleaner and installed in my system. After that I clean my computer completely. Now after doing that I installed the newly download driver in my computer. After doing that I am not facing any issues with my computer and web cam. Thank you so much for helping me and giving me this information.
