Security Update for MS.Net Framework 4

Can anyone help me, i'm having trouble with the update for MicroSoft.Net framework 4 on Windows Vista (KB 2446708) i keep getting the error code 66a, i've scanned my computer and found nothing, can anyone advise me on what to do next?

In the maintenance screen that opens, select "Repair. NET Framework 4 project customer to its original state" and click Next. After the repair completes, click Finish. When you return to Windows Update, the .NET security patch is supposed to install not including a hitch. .NET is supposed to be installed not including any problems. If the update continues to play hard to get, Microsoft suggest that you uninstall the entire versions. NET on your computer and reinstall all the versions. Instructions for this tedious task - meaning restart not one but two - are provided on the support site of Microsoft.

Hi, which maintenance screen do you mean and where will i find it?

Maintenance screen is nothing but you will find in the control panel where you will normally uninstall the programs
