Web app not working on 2008 R2 64 bit but working on Windows 2000 server

I am moving my website from an old Windows 2000 machine toward a Windows 2008 R2 64bit machine. I encompass all right .NET versions, rebuild data sources. I have every web-apps working apart from 8 of 9 working. The .cs files exist in within the App Code folder of the website directory. In the existing production situation this application is working well. The compilers as well as browsers have no difficulty in finding class as of the call in default .cs class. If I try to open it in an independent case of IE and with a local host call, I obtain error: "CS0103. I acquire the similar error while trying to show it as of a remote machine with the http url. Can you tell me that what is the problem with that and how can this be resolved?

All you will have to do is just convert the IIS virtual directory to the application. I am not very sure about this but you can try this for sure to see if that works for you. I asked this to my one of my friends and he told me this way to resolve the problem. Please give it a try and let us know that if it resolves the problem so that we can provide you some other solution for this.

The .NET Framework (edition 2.0, 3.0, 3.5.1 as well as 4.0) is now accessible from Server Core since an installation option. By taking benefit of this feature, administrators can facilitate ASP.NET lying on Server Core, that affords them complete use of Power Shell cmd. moreover, .NET hold means the capability to carry out remote management tasks as of IIS manager as well as host ASP.NET Web applications lying on Server Core too.

Subsequent to you install IIS then you are able to configure Visual Studio for running and debugging local ASP.NET Web sites via using IIS in place of by making use of the built-in ASP.NET Development Server. While you generate a local IIS Web site, the pages as well as folders intended for site are stored within a folder beneath the default IIS folder meant for Web sites. Visual Studio makes the suitable IIS configuration in order that the Web site is accepted through IIS as an application.
