allow autorun.inf from an "unmanaged" installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1

    Hi,

Is there anyone who knows how to allow autorun.inf from an "unmanaged" installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection? Whenever I am trying to install such applications or printer using autorun.inf, The Symantec does not allow it to proceed.

    Thanks

    Mark

You just have to disable the network thread protection policy by going into SEP client >> then Change Settings >> Network Threat Protection >> Configure Settings >> Uncheck Enable Firewall. After that you will have to restart your computer. You can even try to uninstall the Network Threat Protection and it will work for you.
