I am suspecting that this particular issue is occurring due to the permission issue. Well I am suggesting that you need to locate the exe file of the QuickTime player as Administrator of the computer. as I have already mentioned you need to locate the QuickTimePlayer.exe and right click on the same and simply select the Run as Administrator from the right click context menu. So try the above mentioned thing an let me know the results.

If you are able to successfully launched the QuickTime as Administrator then I am sure that this particular problem was occurring due to the permission issue. So I am suggesting following steps which will let you to launch the QuickTime with administrative privileges.
    1. You have to right click on the QuickTimePlayer.exe and click on the Properties and click on the Compatibility tab and click on the Run as Administrator.
    2. Finally click on the Ok button to apply the changes.

This thing will launch the QuickTime every time with administrative rights.

I think this particular thing is occurring due to the conflict between any of the application which you have installed on the computer of yours. so I am suggesting that you should clean boot the computer of yours. it will help you out to find out the which service or the application is causing the conflict. Once you have found the application or service which is causing the conflict then you should remove or update the same.
