i would like to suggest you to uninstall the itunes through Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and then download the itunes again. To do this follows the steps below. Note that Windows Installer Clean Up Utility will not remove the actual program on your computer.
1. Download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility from the some official site and then Save the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility enclose on your system
2. after downloading now makes Right click Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and then select the Run as Administrator
3. When you completed the installation and then go to the start icon from the desktop.
5. Now here select the All Programs. And then make hit on the Windows Install Clean up Utility.
6. Under the Windows Install Clean up Utility, select the itunes and then make hit on the remove and then press OK and exit from this. I think this will help you lot.

Now make check mark on the custom and then click the arrow of the custom.
Now under the Choose a default media player section select the itunes and then click OK. I hope this will help you.
