itunes has stopped working on Vista 64

I have Windows Vista 64 bit OS. I can download and install both itunes and quicktime, but when I try to launch either one I get a Message "itunes (or quicktine) has stopped working" "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". I have deinstallede and reinstalled several times. Still same issue. Does anyone have a solution?

If you will ask me then there might be a conflict between the iTunes and QuickTime that you are using or which you have installed on the operating system. Now what I want you to so here is that just try and uninstall the QuickTime from the system of yours and then you have to keep the iTunes as it is and after the uninstallation of the QuickTime you have to just see whether you are able to launch the iTunes or not. I guess this time you will definitely do get a hand over it.
