Outlook 2007 hangs after installing KAV 2011

I had an old version of antivirus present in my PC. But recently I upgraded it by installing KAV 2011.Once I upgraded it I feel that my Outlook 2007 is not working properly. It had started to constantly hang every time I dismiss a reminder. I think that there is some problem with the Kaspersky 2011 that I have installed. Please help me out on this because I use Outlook a lot and due to this problem I am not able to work. Please do reply if anyone knows the solution for this.

The solution to this can be that the process of up gradation must have gone a bit wrong. I feel that there is no reason why the Outlook 2007 shouldn’t work if you install the KAV 2011.What you need to do is that you need to just uninstall the KAV 2011 first. Once you uninstall it then you need to reinstall the same .You need to follow the same procedure as you had used earlier to re install the KAV 2011.Once you reinstall it again I am sure that the Outlook 2007 will work properly.

Thank you for your solution. I will surely try it out and I hope it works out for me. But before that I need to tell you that I digged in a further to check out that what is the problem. And I think that only the Kaspersky Outlook Anti-Spam is the one that is making Outlook 2007 to close improperly. And this has happened after installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.So please me for the solution.

I think you just need to follow the same instructions as I had told you earlier. Looking at what you are saying might be right. Even I feel that the Kaspersky Outlook Anti-Spam is the Outlook to close improperly. But to start the working of Outlook 2007 you just gave to reinstall the anti-virus. I am sure that it will solve your problem. And then you can start using Outlook 2007 as you did before.
