    MS Project 2003 Row Height

Hi, In the gantt view I want to reduce the row height so that my schedule prints out on less pages. My project printouts have alot of unused 'white space' below the text in the task column. I know how to increase the row height but cant get it to decrease any smaller than the minimum that Project will let me. Ive tried reducing the font size but the printouts are the same.

You can try to select the entire Task Name column by right-clicking on the Task Name column header and deselect 'Wrap Text'. One of the Bar Styles probably has a text below or on top of the bar. You can also try to copy and rename your existing troublesome Gantt chart (View > More Views, select Gantt Chart and copy. After that rename the view to something other than Gantt.) Then try copying the Gantt chart view from the other project file that all is well in back to the trouble file using the Organizer. (Open both files first then choose Tools > Organizer and copy the Gantt view.)

In Bar Styles, if you add anything to the Top or Bottom fields, it will resize the row height to accomodate. If you remove all Top or Bottom field entries, it goes back to the minimum row height.
