While updating windows vista sp1 getting error code 80070490

Good evening to all, now I am not able to do updates to Vista SP1. I have searched various forums but it seems that a solution is the only uninstall the SP1 and then install Vista from DVD and repair no one has a better solution please? So that is why I think that it will be great if I make my own thread over here. So if you guys have any idea on the same then please help me as soon as it is possible for you guys.

It is not the update that you do: you start the computer using the Windows Vista DVD and, on the home screen, in the lower left choose "Repair". Because when I was going through the same issue so at that time I have did the same and after doing it I got my solution so if you want then you can go for this I am sure you will get fix for your issue also. And if you get fix so please inform me.

I have a Windows Anytime Upgrade Pack to upgrade from Windows Vista Home Premium Windows Vista Ultimate. In the bottom left there 'Repair. But when I do not choose the option for Repair and furthermore, by choosing Restore, offers some options, but makes no sense that a repair will follow. So what is this I am not able to get so if anybody have any idea related the same then please help me. I will be thankful for the same.

Now some days I have this problem on my PC that I cannot update and while doing this I got two errors those are:

• Code 80070490 Windows Update: Unknown error: Security Update Windows Vista (KB967723)
• Code 8024200D Windows Update: Unknown error: Update for Windows Vista (KB970430)

What should I do? I have completely reinstall Vista from the DVD Upgrade? And then uninstall Service Pack 2? Hoping it does not delete those updates which are really important? I remain hopeful for an answer that can really solve my problem. In the meantime, thank you for your courtesy and availability '.
