getting error: "'create process failed code 740 " after installing hardware software

I’ve hp pavilion laptop and I’m using windows vista operating system in it. One day I’ve downloaded a hardware software from internet and I’ve installed that driver in my system. I’ve installed a trial version software. After installing I got the following message “create process failed code 740”. I got this message after the installation and before I exit the program. I don’t know whether I successfully complete the installation or not. If my installation is not successfully done then it should give the message between the installation process, Why it is giving the after installation. Please tell me what is the problem. Why this message is appear on screen. Please help me.

You’ve not specified what is the software you have installed in your system. I think you have downloaded some hardware driver and installed in your system. Uninstall that driver and install that driver again. If you get that message again then I think you have downloaded some corrupted file and you need to remove that file from your system. Always remember whenever you download any software or anything from internet then you should scan the file first before installation. It may be virus or any malware. You should always download a software from a reliable sites. Now, install a good antivirus software in your system and scan your system for virus. Hope it works for you.

If you get this message before the completion of installation process, then your software is not completely installed in your system. Some part of your software is remaining for installation and may be it gets corrupted, therefore you’re getting this error. Try to uninstall that software, if you can see some part of that software in control panel> add or remove program hen remove that from the list. After removing it install that software again, if you still got the same problem then change the source of your downloading. Try to download that software from some other sites and then install in your system. Sometimes some files are corrupted on some sites.
