EXIF orientation information is not supported on Windows Photo Viewer

I am having some problem with Windows Photo Viewer does not support the EXIF orientation information in an image file. The JPEG files have the orientation detail in the EXIF however so far it is showed as landscape in its place of as portrait. Picasa Photo Viewer as well as Photoshop Elements Organizer support the orientation information as well as show the image as a portrait. Is there any solution to solve this?

With default, JPEG plus TIFF picture files that contain the EXIF picture orientation characteristics are rotated through bring in Windows photo viewer. In Windows Live photo gallery you be able to set the alternative you first have to go to Windows Live photo gallery. After that you have to press on file plus after that press on Options. Then you have to press on Import. And at the last press on “Rotate Photos during Import”.

A number of photo applications will show a photo as rotated which is referred to because soft rotating through reading metadata on the photo itself. Though the Photo Gallery rotates photos on bring in utilizing this similar metadata, a lot of a times it does not also rotate the entire un-rotated photos in their group for them mechanically, or in any case show the photos as rotated similar to several other applications perform.

The cause that the Photo Gallery rotates on import, however not after that is since there are a numeral of applications that do not properly update the photo metadata following rotating. This metadata is thought to reflect the condition of the photo, however if the photo is rotated with no updating this metadata, another application utilizing this metadata to find out whether or not to rotate it will wrongly rotate the photo.

Throughout import, the photos are coming straight from the camera, at which point the truth of this metadata is not in question. Consequently though it is secure. For the Photo Gallery to rely on this metadata to create a correct rotate choice throughout import the moment the photo makes its technique to the computer, any additional application possibly will cooperate by means of the photo, as well as potentially damage this metadata. So, the Photo Gallery does not soft rotate at the moment.
