Cannot install .net framework 4

Hey guys, Recently I've tried to install .net framework 4. Everything works fine until the end when i click finish on the installer. I know that you are supposed to get a little box after that says you have to restart because I watched a youtube video. I am not getting this box thus not completing my installation. Please Help!

Which Operating System are you using? What you can do is collect your .Netfx4 setup logs following the instructions at http://blogs.msdn.com/heaths/pages/collect.aspx and post them here. I would recommend you to first start by removing Client and Extended portions of the Framework manually from Add/Remove programs. You will need to start with Extended and then uninstall Client second. Once you've done that, try installing VS again and let me know if that fixes the problem.
