Outlook 2010 Beta Starts very slow

I have Used Office 2007 and now working on two stations with Office 2010. One PC is anyway not the fastest but the other is actually quite powerful (3 GHz quad core, 8GB Ram 1333, Windows 7 x64). Outlook still has about 30 seconds before I can use it. Although the Outlook window appears fairly quickly, but then I see about 25 seconds, the "hourglass" and cannot while working with Outlook. Outlook is connected to an Exchange 2003 server and about 5 mail accounts. How fast / slow is with you? For Outlook 2007 started much faster (after about 3-5 seconds I was able to work), now what is the problem with this outlook 2010 Beta.

I am also facing similar issue for me it starts quite slow and I have an AMD Phenom X4 each with 2.3 GHz and 4GB Ram. Do you think really it's up to the query time, because for me are the mails that I have built up very slowly converting clicks, even though I have already downloaded them. On the graphics card is also probably has very little, because I also play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, when everything is "high" position, with 60 FPS. Is this slow working of outlook 2010 is related to that in any manner. To be honest currently I am not having the idea what is causing this problem but need know the solution for the same.

Win7 home premium, 4 GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5 GHz. I switched due to a new PC from Office XP to 2007. Then the invitation came in 2010 Beta. The boot process of all programs in 2010 is slower than in 2007 the slowest is on Outlook 2010. An application of the accounts cannot lie, because 2007 and 2010, the same accounts appeal. The firewall could it be, and it is of course the same. Start perceived duration of more than 30 sec. The e-mail retrieval is then fixed as well as in 2007. This is probably a beta release, which is to take care of MS. I hope that when they are going to release the complete version this issue will be fixed.

Re: Outlook 2010 Beta Starts very slow

When I start Outlook 2010 Beta it starts in 6 seconds, including access to the Exchange server in the company. The IMO is pretty fast. Although I'm sitting on an ancient box (AMD 1.6 MHz, 2 GB RAM). The operating system is Windows XP professional. SP 3 with all available updates. A "problem" is, however, if you want to start a Offic2010 session back to the original Office 2003. It takes an eternity. I suspect however, that at the start of some of the other system is adjusted in the registry, for example, the whole standard of the links Office package. The second start with the just "umgerubelten" Office goes back quite quickly. Well, I think the way that Outlook 2010 is now easily able to open *. eml files.

Re: Outlook 2010 Beta Starts very slow

Outlook 2010 takes about a minute for me, but was similar to Outlook 2007 already slow. Dell Optiplex 755 with 4GB RAM and a Core2Duo 7200 160GB/7200. An Exchange Psotfach in cache function plus archive folder and various public folders. I do not know whether this issue will be fixed or not but I think that there is no solution for this beta version. Is this is compatibility issue or something else because there are some users are facing this problem and for some users it is working great. If the reason for slow performance is beta version then this problem should happen for all the user and not for few.

The Office 2007 apps load almost instantly for me. The Splash screen should indicate what is slowing the process. As they
start, do you see something such as "Loading <some file name> add-in" in the Splash screen? If so, that's what's causing the delay.

You're not actually using the BETA of Office 2010 are you? It's expired, it shouldn't be working at all.

Assuming you didn't really mean to say "Beta"...
Does this happen even if you start Outlook in Safe Mode? (hold down CTRL while you click the icon) See if this helps
