Windows Vista Mail Error No 0x80004005 Can send, cannot receive

Using Windows Vista Mail - cannot receive, but CAN send. My carrier says all info in accounts is correct (POP3 & SMTP for incoming & outgoing), must be a MS problem. Thnx!

    Entire message.

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Home', Server: 'pop.atlanticbb.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80004005

That's origin by a dishonest message on the server. Go to your mail and log in with your AT&T credentials. After that, clear out all the folders in your webmail. If you wish to save any messages, make a new folder and shift those messages to the new folder. Clear the spam and thrash folders as well. Close webmail, and after that attempt Windows Mail again.
