Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit error 308

This is honestly the first time I've encountered this error, and Google is NOT my friend with this one. Whenever I try to execute an application (32 bit, eg. Office 2010), I get this error:

"The subsystem needed to support the image type is not present."

Any help would be appreciated greatly :
