Office 2011 needs activation in Macintosh

I have got a Macbook that has intel core processor and a 4 GB RAM installed in it , the hard disk installed in t it of 500 GB of Momentus XT . Actually the system of mine was working very fine but the tools installed in it are not. I had installed 2008 office version of it but as I was not comfortable with the2008 version I decided to change it to the latest version 2011 but could not do it as I came to know that it needs some sort of installation. Please post your reply back if you have any idea how to install a 2011 office version in Macbook.

Prior to install the MS office version of 2011 version, you did not mention which operating system you are currently using in your Macbook , if you are having the Windows operating system then I do not think that you will any sort of issue in installing it , in fact you will have a clean installation unless you have a corrupted format of office too but if you are using a Snowleopard or Macintosh then you will need some sort of activation on the Office tool .
