Embedded controller is not respond within the timeout period

Hi, in the event log it was repeated after one month the following error:
    Log Name: System
    Source: ACPI
    Date: 19/12/2010 19:38:08
    Event ID: 13
    Task Category: None
    Level: Error
    Keywords: Classic
    User: N / A
    Computer: Owner-PC
And the embedded controller did not respond within the timeout period. You may be experiencing a hardware failure or firmware or ECE that access to EC by the BIOS is not correct. It is advisable to request an updated version of BIOS in computer manufacturer. In some cases, this error can prevent the proper operation of your computer. Dv6 HP Pavilion Notebook PC, AMD Athlon Dual-Core II M300, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The performance of the system look good. Any advice?

Hello in device manager (start> type devmgmt.msc in the box) are devices with exclamation marks? If you noticed the error occurred in connection with the use of certain devices? So you just try this I hope this will help you in order to get the fix for this issue. I have seen this that many of the users are facing similar type of solutions.

start your computer and attached devices without checking if it has the problem. From start> type cmd> now run as administrator command prompt> type SFC / SCANNOW attend completion, then reboot (temporarily disable your antivirus or similar software running in the background) you know.
