Samsung PC Studio won't work on windows 7

Hi I have Samsung Pixon and I use Samsung PC Studio that came with the disc. But it does not install on my Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate.

Anyone know where I can download a Windows 7 64 bit version from? or any other tricks to make it work?

Hi, i have a U900 SOul and facing same issue as you , i can't connect it with my windows 7, there must be some resolution to make it work on windows 7. I search on google , many people have same issue but no solution to make it work.

Download the latest Samsung PC Studio 7.2.24.9 , the windows 7 support is included with it but i haven't tested. I think the issue is with 64 bit OS not the windows 7. But try it out and try to install in compatibility mode also.

By using Google search download the following files:

• 20080616115846062_Samsung_USB_Driver_Installer
• Samsung_PC_Studio_323_IF5

Right click each file one by one and select properties and select compatibility tab select "Run this program in compatibility for" WINDOWS XP (service pack 2) and also don't forget to check the run as Administrator option.

From the samsung mobile community: There is currently an issue with the drivers for Windows 7 64 bit and PC Studio.

So basically it is the issue and samsung yet remain to release some fix for it. So guys you have to wait or try to search some third party application to work for you.

There is a new PC Studio available from Samsung that will work. At least it works on my samsung impression phone. I believe it is called New_PC_Studio_1.5.1.10064_2 Hope this helps it works for me.
