Have you updated the virus database with the latest definition of AVG? If you have updated and still not getting it detected by AVG then it might be possible that AVG is not having the update for this virus. It is better to install another security program which is having the update for same and then try to remove it. If you can then go through the same and see whether this is working for you or not. Also it is advisable to run then Virus Scan in Windows Safe Mode with the networking as virus are less active in Safe Mode. I hope this will work for you.
Hi
Thanks for the info.
Yes - it is the latest of AVG.
Comes back saying it is not accessable.
Never had an AVG failure in all my 5 years of using it.
I will try another malware program.

Instead of AVG it would be much better to use Microsoft Security Essential on your system. Since i have been using MSE Since last six months and my system is never infected since then sometimes it detects malwares which are removed by the Microsoft Security Essential its a very good antivirus application.
Thank you - I have an old Windows ME operating system though.
