Is it possible to open .vsd file by Visio 2007 which saved using Visio 2010

I have just newly installed Visio 2010, but I am in awe if a .vsd saved by it can be released or opened by my classmates who are using Visio 2007 or in my college which also contain Visio 2007. Anyone contain any information related to this then please provide as early as possible. Because I just want to show my project or want to show my art to my friend and to my faculties as well. Any rapid information or help would be extremely appreciated and respected.

As my point of view or I directly say that the file will be able to be released by Visio 2007, on the other hand, be careful that a few types of diagrams may not be able to 100 percent toward the back similar in temperament, in exacting diagrams which make use of an add-on. That is I have their menu or toolbar. Just want to ask you that what type of diagram you are utilizing? I asking you this because as I told you that some diagram not work or execute properly.

Visio file format .vsd has not distorted in view of the fact that Visio 2003 so the files shaped in Visio 2010 will open both in Visio 2003 and 2007. There could be a number of backward compatibility problems that depending on category of diagram. I just wish this may be helpful to you. And yes on more things is that, if you done this correctly then must reply. And any other information you require then also must ask.

While opening this file by means of 2007 my associate gets an error message which saying it cannot be edited in earlier versions of Visio. Is there any way for me to save this file as a Visio 2007 well-matched file? If have then must inform me about this. Waiting for help!!!

I am running office 2003. I just newly installed the Visio viewer and compatibility pack, I was not certain if it was 2007 or not. But I still cannot open the picture. The strange obsession is that later than I installed the viewer afterward the diagram was documented in Windows XP that it was a Visio doc. accurate icon showed up subsequently to it. But while I attempt to release it, it opens IE, and after that the caution window inquires me to agree to loading this, I accept and the display is blank with an X in higher left corner. So here I am not understood why this is actually happened? Please someone see my query and if possible then try to solve it.
