How to Insert video PowerPoint 2010

I have recorded a video (thunderbirds, dailymotion 2m30) from vdownloader in avi format (640x480). I tried other formats mpeg, wmv. after the show was recorded in the computer,I can open it by windows media. but I can insert into a powerpoint 2010, as he writes a missing codec (home & student version 2010) i do not know which one. I get xp codec pack, k-lite pack, nothing works. How to solve the problem?

I have two solutions for this and I hope this wil lgoign to get hel p you in order to get out from this issue.
And the Two solutions are:

1. Download the appropriate codec.
2. Convert your. Avi. Wmv format to be played without problem in PowerPoint 2010 because it is the default format.

So just try this I hope you will get your solution.

I have tried and it did not work. Then i have shot with a digital camera directly from the computer screen. And Powerpoint 2010 do not take (missing a codec, which one?). Then i did in transformed with super wmv, same result does not work, manufactured in the same result avi not accepted. WINDOWS media when i open the computer in: windows media quick time the open.

1. Click the File tab.
2. Under Help, click on Options.
3. Click Center of confidentiality, Settings Management Centre of confidentiality, and then click Privacy Options.
