Not able to install Office Professional Plus 2010

Recently I have installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 in my laptop. Before that I have using Service Pack 2 only. At same time I have installed Windows Office 2010. But it is not installing on SP3, it is working properly on SP2. I have downloaded that SP3 from Windows official site itself. I am not able to find out what is the problem. Is that my SP3 problem or any else problem is there? So can anybody have faced this kind of problem then please help me to solve my problem. Thank you in the advance.

As you have mansion in the question I think this may not be your Windows XP Service Pack 3 problem, it may be your hardware problem. Microsoft launches this Office 2010 recently. So it is working fine on XP SP 3. To use Office 2010 product on your product please check your system configuration.
Windows XP SP3 /Vista SP1/ Windows 7/Server 2003 SP2 and Windows 2008.

But I am also having installed XP Service Pack 3. But still is not working properly. I have try lot of thing before posting this. But still is not working for me. So guys any one please help me to fix my this problem.

I am also agreeing with the above post. This is may be your hardware problem not a XP SP3 problem. This kind of problem is occurs when one of the following conditions is happened:

1. The operating system on which you are trying to install Office 2010 does not meet the system requirements for the product. For example, you are trying to install Office 2010 on a Windows XP-based computer that does not have Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed.
2. The Office 2010 Setup program (Setup.exe) is configured to run in compatibility mode. That is, the Setup program is set to run under a particular operating system, such as Microsoft Windows 95.

The system requirement for installing Office 2010 on your System then you must be running on the following Operating System:

on 32-bit Platform:

• Windows XP Sp3
• Windows Server 2003 Sp2
• Windows Vista sp1
• Windows 7

On 64 bit Platform:

• Windows Server 2008
• Windows Vista Sp1
• Windows 7

First you have to uninstall the office 2010 completely. After that just disable compatibility mode before you try to install Office 2010 again. To do this, just follow following simple steps:

1. First just right-click the Office 2010 file i.e.“Setup.exe”.
2. Then click on its “Properties”.
3. After that click the “Compatibility tab”.
4. After that just run this program in compatibility mode.
5. Then you have to just click on “Apply” button, and then click “OK” button.
6. After that you have done with this just double-click on “Setup.exe” to install Office 2010.

I advise you to just to do the following mansion things to fix this. If you’re using Office 2003 OR Office 2007 and then you’re moving from Office 2003 OR Office 2007 to Office 2010, then you should install both versions side by side. This allows you to learn some more features of Office 2010, and still it work in the familiar to your older version environment when you need to get things done quickly.
