    Not showing SoundMAX Audio

Well today the purchase of ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard which brings the sound card onboard SoundMAX Audio Driver ADI1986A. The problem is that when trying to install skip this error. The audio driver files are not compatible with the hardware in your computer. If you uninstalled audio software without restarting your PC, restart now, then run this setup again. I could not fix it, it's more when I can I will post in case anyone on this planet the same thing happened. Operating System Windows xp
    Solutions that did not work:
    • Update driver
    • Uninstall and install.
    • Enable and disable state in BIOS
    • From control panel / system / hardware cannot.

Here I just want to ask you that are you crazy that you are trying these things in order to get rid from these issues. Because these are the basic things and everybody know about it. Regarding your issue I have tried to search this on many of the website but not able to get the perfect solution for your issue. So that is the reason I might not help, I would say you download the software, and you just Google regarding that software.

Actually I am also going through the same problem and in that Unfortunately you believe it or not you need to format if you have this problem. The brothel is generated when the wizard acts on the drivers and windows files in the automatic installation of the motherboard CD. You must restart the computer and enabled in the BIOS to stop the sound card. Then put the cd install the ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard or whatever, and I've seen what happens to many mothers of ASUS, and install the drivers manually and NOT THE CD AUTORUN wizard . In these way windows is not affected. RECUERDEN QUE ESTE ERROR PASA CON WIN XP SP1or sp2 remember that this error about win xp sp1 & 2.

I did the following and it worked. First thing in this you have to do is uninstall the drivers (hbĂ*a a yellow S on a PCI ...), I searched the asus site and found a V51024160 ADI file, rebooted and when I said new hardware found audio_ADI_v51024160 Q Search \ 32bit \ 2k_XP \ SMAXWDM \ W2K_XP . I hope they fix it.

I am also going through this but in this The SoundMAX icon p[resent in to the task bar and also tool tip and it mention that " No SoundMAX Audio Present, You are not able to make use of the SoundMAX Control Panel". The SoundMAX Control Panel does not open up. The sounds play very well but they do so after a diminutive lag of about 7 to 10 seconds. When the SoundMAX drivers are installed again so at that time the problem disappears but it get re-appears after the PC has been restarted a few times. And in this all software are updated but I am not able to understand that why it is happening please if you know solution for this then please help me.

If it is possible so you attempt to reinstall the windows and then you attempt it once more to install sound drivers provided on MB CD. And after it also you are not able to get the solution for then the best thing is that call the specialist after following these steps if difficulty remains as it is. May be u have to check Motherboard also for onboard chip corrupted / damage. So I will wish you best of luck for this.
