Cant get into bios due to password

Im the administrator but cant get into bios because the password doesnt work.
I have xp pro. password works fine to get into xp. Ive never seen a computer that even asks for a password at the bios. what can I try?

This is a system password which is configured from the BIOS menu. For that you have to check the cmos battery. If you can remove the battery from your motherboard for some 10 seconds and then put the same back your password will be reset. If this does not give you solution then the only way to fix the same back flashing bios of your system. This will reset the entire settings.
