How To Copy Rows having Colored Cells by Macro

I was looking for an explanation through the excel questions but could not find anything appropriate that was useful for me. Assume that column B are two different colored Jan, Yellow and Green as well as Feb and March. I would like to search for a formula or macro without creating an surplus column which looks for the color Green i.e. if the particular cells are Green (Jan, Feb and March) then perform certain action.

  1. "if the particular cells are Green (Jan, Feb and March)..." if magenta is always used to Jan, Mon & March, you don't want to concern about the color - you can run the calculations etc off the Year of the month in column B.
  2. ?Or you can use different color combination for different month but never put same color in two cell month. But don?t keep any column red or magenta for month column then it is assume as holiday or off.
  3. "...so then carry out an action you required."

Since it is concern with the color keep minimum color as you require. Just look out that Year column color does not matches with month cell. And also look out that red color is used minimum in Month as well as in year column since red color is used for date having Sunday or sometime weekends day wherever applicable.Make sure that color used is not repeated for different cell s for the month column or in the year column.

Filter can also be during selecting the color. i have a column with different colors in it and would like to identify if it is likely to filter so i can see all the yellow cells, red cells etc....
You have ever required to filter or sort this data i.e. color based on the formatting you might silent be looking for answers because there isn't any inbuilt function or formula in Excel. I have made three easy custom formulas which will help you get a exclusive number for the font color, cell color or bold format. Since it is concern for font color we can able to use filter in the cell for the font color.
